Data protection impact assessments are a useful tool for dealing with data privacy risks. VUD now provides a template for conducting data protection impact assessments.

Benchmarking 2023: Informational Self-Determination

As part of the VUD Benchmarking 2023, we also surveyed the importance of obtaining consent in practice and which alternative legal bases are applied when processing personal data. The survey was conducted in cooperation with a research project on informational self-determination of the Chair of Information and Communication Law at the University of Zurich by Prof. Florent Thouvenin.
